The smile and the warm love of God that shine in Pastor George’s
face never go away. I have not yet seen him waste even a second of his day; he is always about his Father’s business.
The mission of Lifelines Faith Missions is to preach and teach
the Word of God to all people, making desciples who will in turn make other disciples by training native Ghanaians to reach
out to their communities and by training nationals to reach out to the nations. We believe in salvation for the total man
and seek to teach the people to take their rightful place as believers in Christ Jesus our Lord. We seek to parallel our mission
according to Isaiah 58: 7-12:
[Is it] not to deal thy bread to the hungry and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When
thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness
shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward. Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt
cry, and he shall say, Here I [am].
If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting
forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; And [if] thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then
shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness [be] as the noonday: And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy
thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters
fail not. And [they that shall be] of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations;
and thou shalt be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in.
We will rebuild the old waste places of our communities; we
will raise up the righteous foundations of many generations; we will be the repairer of the breach and the restorer of streets
to dwell in, and by the grace of God, we will be obedient to His direction to do by establishing a home-based church, which
will send out missionaries to plant churches in communities where the Lord leads and to raise up local pastors to minister
to the people.
We will work alongside the newly planted
churches while the Lord establishes them in their communities and then move onto the next. The local churches will then remain
to send forth their own to establish first the community and then the surrounding areas. Prayerfully, we will plant at least
one new church each year. Because the newly planted churches will remain autonomous, their responsibilities will remain toward
the resident pastor; there will be no further responsibilities toward Lifelines Faith Mission.
A center to help couples rekindle
their marriages is also in our hearts; a football club to draw in the youth for Christ; assisting and supporting ministers
of the gospel financially; helping the children to obtain an education by assisting them with their school fees so they can
attend school prepared to learn; seminars and conferences to help strengthen local ministries and promote unity in the Body
of Christ; and reaching out to the Islamic people of the world with the Love of our God and Savior.
How great is our God to entrust us with such a wonderful work!

That is not smog or haze in the photo. It is the dust carried in the air by
the harmattan blowing in from the Sahara. The ground had to be doused by fire hoses in an attempt to hold down the dust kicked
up into the air by the thousands of kids who came for children’s ministry each day.
